I just got my Happy Meal Transformers toys today, but I only get 3 of the 6 characters they released. The 6 characters was Optimus prime, megatron, screamer, bumblebee, ratchet and lugnut. Right now I only have Optimus Prime, Megatron and Ratchet so hopefully tomorrow I will complete the set, I’m going to check the McDonalds near our office maybe they have it. This is perfect because I already craving for burger and fries so I will take my lunch their since I can even buy the toys without the happy meal for $1. So check my next post if I will still be lucky to grab bumblebee.
This is my copy (I can say) of Takara Transformers Nike Free Optimus Prime and Megatron, but this pair is just a KO or bootleg of the original version which was release a year ago. Below is the posting at TFormers.comlast year:
Takara continues to release more innovative and imaginative products with the new Transformers Sports Label series! This new series features 1/2 scale transforming Nike shoes! These licensed items should be somewhere around 6″ in length in shoe mode and it looks like they even have real laces connected to the top of the shoe. Convoy and Megatron are also each sporting a miniature pair of Nike Free 7.0 as a finishing touch.
I actually can’t believe that I won’t able to grab one of the original version of this. What a shame, I actually no idea when they release and only just recently I got an information with this after one year. So what I did was, I immediatey surf to the internet, amazon and Ebays if I will still be able to grab one of this, but unfortunately I only got this Ko version and I don’t see anymore of the original version so I don’t have any idea what is the pricing right now of this cool stuff by Takara.
I just like to share this nice video of this lucky guy who able to own one of this rare version of Transformers.
Today, before going home from work I decided to drop by at Toys R Us, Metrotown and I got a chance to grab one of this latest series in the Transformers action figures. Now it was animated looking figures, base on the Cartoon Networks Transformers animated TV series. The Transformers Animated series figures comes in 8 different models.
Hasbro release another Transformers Action Figure Scale but with the characters and styling of Transformers: Animated. For the first time, character conversion in the toy mirrors how they change in the TV show providing a seamless connection between toy and entertainment. Packed in vehicle mode and some include firing projectiles.-Hasbro
This is my first attempt to customize Munny by KidRobot the D.I.Y. Toy, so if you see it’s not that good but good enough I can say for beginner’s like me . I try to make a lot of concept first and decided to design it from my childhood robot hero “Voltes V”. You can see in my previous post the latest release of this robot.
I use Krylon acrylic spray paint and with the combination of Testors paint. For lining and edging I just use a simple Pilot fine point highlighter. I’m not sure if this is really a good way or materials for painting this toy, I try to google around but no luck I can’t get a good idea what exactly they using to make it really cool. Though I got a good article by painting a surf board with “Pentel” acrylic markers but unfortunately its not available here in Vancouver, Canada or maybe hard to find. Online is not my option right now so try to make it what is available here in my place. And yap, not bad I come it with cool design of Munny and I’m more interested now to follow it up with a new one. The design is already in my mind so I can’t wait to get one again. So for now see you in some forum talking about Munny design, here is the forum site where I in now.
Check it out and see you there. If you have other known best site to discuss this toy, please let me know I’m happy to know more about this community. Happy Munny’s Day!!!
Last weekend my family and I got a chance to visit Seattle, USA. It was a fun and exciting experience for the family. For me it was also like a dream come true, as we know that “grunge music” was originated in Seattle and made famous by band like Nirvana and Pearl Jam.
Well the best thing about going to Seattle is I got a chance to drop by at “toys R us” and and bought this Optimus Prime- Premium Series for only US$39.99, why do I need to go to Seattle just only to have this? simple, it was way more cheaper there than in Vancouver. I really don’t know why it was so expensive here in Canada even though that Canadian dollar is more higher than US dollar now. Here in Canada this version of Optimus is worth Can$69.99, you see the big difference, I’m not kidding check it here (during posting the optimus version is sold-out but the same items categories in megatron same price is in the link) compare to US store.
Well 30 bucks is a big money, nice to save it and not be a victim of Canadian retailers. Excuse us American friends if you see a lot of Canadian lining up crossing the border. This is only one of the reason.
